1018 Commensal microbiota regulates hair cycling by promoting dermal adipogenesis

چکیده

Dermal white adipose tissue (dWAT) has been recently recognized as an indispensable deep skin layer with important non-metabolic functions in regulating hair cycling, wound regeneration, and defense against bacterial infection. We have previously shown that invasion to dermis triggers a reactive adipogenesis response, but whether commensal bacteria plays role dermal this cross-talk between dWAT is involved cycling not investigated. Here, by investigating germ-free mice and/or topical application of antibiotics, we found depletion microbiota led reduction the adipogenic potential fibroblasts, reduced volume, blockage depilation-induced onset cycling. Furthermore, intradermal injection conditioned medium from differentiating adipocytes restored neogenesis microbiota-depleted mice. Finally, showed products derived enhanced process was mediated myeloid differentiation factor 88 (Myd88), key adaptor signaling molecule downstream TLR pathway. Together, our results indicate may promote growth triggering through innate immune mechanism, be therapeutic for disorders characterized lipodystrophy follicle dysfunction.

Interleukin-4 regulates lipid metabolism by inhibiting adipogenesis and promoting lipolysis

Long-term cytokine-mediated inflammation is a risk factor for obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Our previous studies reveal significant associations between promoter single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of interleukin (IL)-4 and T2DM, as well as between SNPs in genes encoding IL-4/IL-4 receptor and high density lipoproteins. Our animal study reveals that IL-4 regulates glucose/lipi...

AIMP1 negatively regulates adipogenesis by inhibiting PPARc

Adipogenesis is known to be controlled by the concerted actions of transcription factors and co-regulators. However, little is known about the mechanism of regulation of the transcription factors that control adipogenesis. In addition, the adipogenic roles of translational factors remain unclear. Here, we show that aminoacyl tRNA synthetaseinteracting multifunctional protein 1 (AIMP1, also know...

Regulation of gut luminal serotonin by commensal microbiota in mice

Gut lumen serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine: 5-HT) contributes to several gastrointestinal functions such as peristaltic reflexes. 5-HT is released from enterochromaffin (EC) cells in response to a number of stimuli, including signals from the gut microbiota. However, the specific mechanism by which the gut microbiota regulates 5-HT levels in the gut lumen has not yet been clarified. Our previous ...

Regulation of inflammatory responses by the commensal microbiota.

It is well established that dysregulation of the interactions between the immune system and commensal bacteria is one factor that underpins the development and chronicity of a number of inflammatory diseases. Certain phyla of bacteria within the microbiota have been associated with 'health', but the mechanisms by which the presence of these bacteria supports a healthy environment are still bein...
